Paul Kligfield, MD served as Director of the Cardiac Graphics Laboratory from 1997 to 2016 and as Medical Director of the Cardiac Health Center from 1995 to 2016. He is a 1970 graduate of Harvard Medical School and was an intern and resident in Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He spent a year as a clinical research fellow in Cardiology at St. George's Hospital in London before completing his fellowship at Cornell. Dr. Kligfield served in the US Navy as a cardiologist at the Naval Submarine Medical Center in Groton before joining the full-time faculty at Cornell in 1977, where he is now Professor of Medicine. In addition to private patient care activities and teaching, his clinical investigation is focused on new algorithms in exercise testing and standard electrocardiography. Dr. Kligfield is President-elect of the New York Cardiological Society, President of the New York Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and Governor of the American College of Cardiology from metropolitan New York, Vice-President of the International Society for Computerized Electro cardiology, and a member and past President of the American Osler Society. He has published numerous research papers and editorials, and he serves on the editorial boards of a number of subspecialty journals.

Natzi Sakalihasan

Natzi Sakalihasan

Natzi Sakalihasan was born in Greece and studied medicine at the University of Istanbul in Turkey. In 1980, he came to Belgium and Germany for a series of internships before finally setting down his suitcases in our country in 1982. That year, he joined the team of Professor Raymond Limet, one of the pioneers in surgery dedicated to cardiac and aneurysmal pathologies in Belgium, at Liège’s CHU. In 1988, Natzi Sakalihasan began research on aneurysms within the context of a doctoral thesis, supervised by Professor Limet. In 2005, he defended his agrégation thesis: "From clinical observation to the study of genomics: contribution to the knowledge of the mechanisms behind the formation and rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysms”. He has now been researching aortic aneurysms and working as a cardiovascular surgeon at the CHU for the past 25 years. Since 2013, he has also been working as a lecturer at ULg where he teaches the biology of vascular walls.

Dr. Kneller is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS) and recognized by the Heart Rhythm Society as a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS). He provides comprehensive patient care, combining optimal medical management and invasive procedures to treat electrophysiologic disorders and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Dr. Chazal is the acting Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute for Lee Health. In addition, he is the chair of the Budget, Finance and Investment Committee (BFIC) and treasurer of the College of Cardiology (2009 – present). During his time as a member of the College, he has served in multiple capacities, including roles as secretary of the College, chair of the Board of Governors, ACC Florida Chapter president and governor from 2002 to 2005, as well as member and chair of multiple committees. In addition to service on the ACC Board of Governors (BOG) and BOT, he serves on the Balance Scorecard Work Group, as well as the Executive Committee. Dr. Chazal has been published in numerous research journals and academic conferences.
