Dimitrios Theodoridis, MD, Msc, born in 1973 in Larissa, is an Attending Physician at the Hematology Department of General Hospital of Nea Ionia Konstantopouleio-Patision (Athens). He received his medical degree from the University of Timosoara, Romania in 1999. He completed his specialty training in Biopathology in Athens, in General Hospital of Nea Ionia Konstantopouleio- Patision in 2008 and worked there as an attending physician until 2011. He continued practicing his specialty in various private practices and eventually accepted a permanent position as an attending Biopathologist in General Hospital of Nea Ionia Konstantopouleio-Patision in 2017. In 2014, he initiated a Master’s Degree in Global Health and Disaster Medicine and has presented his thesis on Chernobyl Disaster in June 2016. Dr Theodoridis has a large area of interests in Hematology and Hemostasis. He has participated in more than 50 national and international conferences- in 7 of them as a speaker and in more than 20 as a poster presenter. Currently his main focus is in Rotational Thromboelastometry (ROTEM) and its medical applications.
